From the Leaders
"Let us Pray, Father, may this Mass celebration today, help all people who work for justice continue your good works in caring for the sick, the lonely and the homeless. We ask this through Christ the Lord. Amen"
St Agnes' School Celebrates Social Justice
This year our whole school Mission goal is to increase our understanding of social justice. We have been learning more about how we can enact this in our homes, our school, our local community and in the world. Today we celebrated the support we have been able to offer to Caritas, Sr Marjorie's Soup Kitchen, Our Place and St Vincent de Paul. We also asked for God's continued guidance in encouraging us to look for new ways to reach out in acts of service for others in need.
Excursion/Incursion Feedback
Thank you to the many families that took the time to contribute to our feedback regarding the future planning of Excursions/Incursions through either the Google Form or attendance at this week's Parent Community Forum Meeting. Here is a copy of all feedback that was offered. This will now be shared with the leadership team to help inform our future opportunities. Additional consultation and feedback is also being offered to the student group and staff. We look forward to updating you again into the future.
Creative Arts Spectacular
The excitement is building for our ‘Aggies in Wonderland’ Creative Arts Spectacular.
Our drama students have been hard at work, pouring their hearts into rehearsals for our upcoming Creative Arts Spectacular. This event promises to be a showcase of our students' talent, dedication, and creativity as they share our ‘Aggies in Wonderland’ production with our school community.
Last week our aspiring performers had a chance to continue to polish their performances with the support of Tim Maddren from Got Ya Back Productions, and our wonderful teachers Miss Boller, Mrs Walker and Mrs Todd.
The atmosphere in the rehearsals has been electric, with students fully immersed in their roles. Whether it's perfecting their lines, mastering stage movements, or collaborating with each other, the energy and passion of our students is truly inspiring.
We look forward to sharing our production with the community on Thursday 29 August at Panthers Port Macquarie. Tickets are still available for sale if you haven’t yet purchased yours!

Father's Day Celebrations
All father's and father figures are invited to join us for a sausage sizzle on Friday 30 August from 7:30am. We will have games and activities on the oval and a coffee van too.
Brewing Imagination: A Showcase of Sculpted Teapots
Over the last week a number of our senior students have engaged in a process of creativity to bring their imaginative ideas to life in the artform of sculpture. The students used word play to inspire their works sculpted teapots.
We are incredibly proud of the creativity and enthusiasm that the students brought to this workshop. The final teapot sculptures are a testament to their willingness to explore new artistic horizons.
We are excited to share the sculpted teapots at our Creative Arts Spectacular!
Raffle tickets for the Nintendo Switch, Port Macquarie Monopoly game and the Mickey Mouse jigsaw puzzle are available for 50 cents each outside of the front office at Lunch One each day. All proceeds will be donated to Sr Marjorie’s Soup Kitchen at ‘Our Place.’
